All good things must come to an end…

And it is both with sadness and joy that we say goodbye to our colleague and friend Frank who retires after over 30 years service here at S&D Landscapes

For decades Frank Trueman has been a valued part of our team and worked hard and relentlessly for us and many of our clients. Frank is a perfectionist and is well deserving of a happy and fulfilling retirement, after all, ours is an industry not for the feint hearted as many would tell you!

April 2016 is the end of an era for us as Frank hangs up his landscaping boots and no longer will have to meet the demands of his large customer base. Perhaps now he will seek to enjoy the great outdoors but in a completely different sense. Frank has been instrumental to the development of S&D Landscapes and has worked on too many projects to mention. He now says goodbye to countless happy clients and will no doubt have left a lasting impression in both the lives and memories of many people.

The team here at S&D whom have had the pleasure of working alongside Frank will miss him, and we extend our thanks and gratitude for all of the hard work throughout his time with us.

So as Frank leaves us, we of course had to find a suitable replacement – and so taking over from Frank is Shaun Mansfield who will take up the Landscaping Manager post here at S&D. Shaun has been with us for a long time also and brings additional skills to the business in his new role.  Business is flourishing and we owe thanks to every single member of the team – ours is a people business and our success is built upon the hard work and determination across our workforce.

Goodbye Frank – but of course, don’t be a stranger – the kettles always on!

Terry Donington, Managing Director.
