Tree Operative/Climber

We currently have a vacancy for a experienced Tree Operative/Climber, to work with a small team carrying out Commercial and Domestic tree work including felling, pruning and associated tasks.

The successful candidate should possess a minimum of the following qualifications:

CS30, CS31, CS32, CS38 & CS39

It would be advantageous to hold a CSCS card and spraying certificate although this is not essential.

Salary is negotiable subject to experience.

Experienced charge hand required

Clean driving licence.

Able to tow a trailer.

To take charge of a small team carrying out grass cutting and general grounds maintenance on commercial business premises and school grounds.

Will require to be Disclosure and Barring checked due to school premises work.

CSCS card if possible but not essential.

Minimum 39 hour week plus additional hours.

ASSISTANT LANDSCAPE CONTRACTS MANAGER AND ESTIMATOR

Duties:-

  • Site visits, surveys and estimating, formulating quotations from bills of quantities.
  • Liaise with office, main contractor or client.
  • Interpret and scale from drawings.
  • Good working knowledge of commercial soft works and hard works.
  • Good plant and tree identification knowledge.
  • Computer literate, word, excel.
  • Able to formulate risk and method statements.
  • Manage health and safety on live projects.
  • Manage teams on multiple projects.
  • Capable of working on site.
  • Good communicator.

Additional Qualifications/Requirements:-

  • Good level of maths and English.
  • CSCS or SMSTS.
  • Full clean driving licence.

 

Further in-house or external training available.
