Are Quotations Free? Yes. We will visit site and assess the extent of works required and provide a quotation at 'no cost' to the client.

How long does an average project take? It depends on what is involved in the project and the time of year. We will give you an indication when the project is quoted for.

Are you willing to come to site to advise on work required?. Yes, we do not charge for providing an estimate

I don't know the difference between 'hard' & 'soft' landscaping? Hard landscaping comprises paving, driveways, wall construction and fencing. Soft landscaping comprises with planting of trees and shrubs using both containerised stock and bare root plants, also turfing,seeding and often soiling.

What are bare root plants? Bare root plants are plants lifted out of the ground exposing the roots and re-planted during the dormant season, November to March.

How far are you willing to travel to undertake work? We assess each job on its merits, but generally, we can undertake work up to 90 miles from our base in Wakefield. We have been known however, to go as far afield as Newcastle Upon Tyne

Do you charge for design work. Yes,as a good deal of time is required to provide an acceptable design. Our initial consultation will establish if you require a full design or if you have the basic idea of your prefered look. If we decide you will be requiring a full design the cost start from £170.00 for domestic gardens which includes an A3 design with planting plan. Commercial sites requiring plans for planning permission start from £370 and include all revisions required. During the consultation we will explain our design fees and advise you on the required services based on your project parameters. No fee will be charged until you request us to proceed.
